Samsung ATIV Book 8 (NP870Z5E) brightness control problem | مشكلة التحكم في اضاءة الشاشة لجهاز Samsung ATIV Book 8 (NP870Z5E)

The problem happens after installing windows 8.1 or installing new Intel graphic driver. Samsung released a patch for it by its software update app but the problem that this patch doesn't show up in the Samsung software update app all the time! maybe it's a bug! after install the registry provided down below then restarting the PC, the control issue of the brightness will be fixed

هذه المشكلة تحدث بعد تثبيت الوندوز 8.1 او تثبيت اصدار جديد لمعرف الجرافكس للإنتل. سامنسونج اصدرة ملف اصلاح لها عن طريق برنامجهم
 software update
 لكن المشكلة ان ملف الاصلاح لا يكون ظاهرا طوال الوقت قد يكون بسبب خلل! بعد تثبيت ملف الاصلاح الموفر بالاسفل و من ثم اعادة تشغيل الكمبيوتر سيتم اصلاح مشكلة التحكم بالاضاءة باذن الله

الان هذه الطريقة تعمل مع بطاقات الايه ام دي و اعتقد انها تعمل ايضا مع كروت ال انفيديا او غيره.

فقط اتبع الخطوات التالية:

it will be setted up by entering the power options then do the following:

في الصوره الاخيره يظهر اسم شركة كرت الجرافكس التي انا استخدمها (الايه تي اي و الايه ام دي نفس الشيء) فاذا كنت تستخدم انفيديا سيظهر لك انفيديا و ليس ايه ام تي.
In the last image the company name of the graphics card that I'm using (ATI & AMD are same) so if you using nvidia card it will show nvidia not ATI

There is a problem with this windows installer package. A dll required for this install to complete

I found a fix by making folder "Temp" in C:\Users\(your user name)\AppData\Local security setting for "everyone" allowed for all actions

it also fixed updating problem with firefox!

I don't know if this make a security vulnerability but I didn't tried this http://www.java.com/en/download/help/error_1723.xml after the above method works

Premiere Pro crashing on windows 8

if you got this problem on the AMD graphic card with catalyst app go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro & change the file name or add CC then the AMD catalyst app wont recognize it. Go to the AMD catalyst app & add Premiere Pro  from the power setting & set it on high performance

2. extract the file
3. install the driver by entering device manager then right click network controller, update driver. then browse the driver folder then click ok

Notice:
1. it doesn't install the driver by the setup file because it's only for dell laptops
2. the wireless will be named "dell wireless 1702"

Linux Wifi Troubleshooting on Macbook Pro

1. If the wl driver loads but doesn't seem to do anything: the ssb module may be the cause. Sometimes blacklisting ssb may not be enough to prevent it from loading and it loads anyway. (This is mostly seen on Ubuntu/Debian systems). From HERE

Check to see if ssb, wl or b43 is loaded:

CODE: SELECT ALL

lsmod  | grep "b43\|ssb\|wl"

If any of these are installed, remove them:

CODE: SELECT ALL

sudo rmmod b43
sudo rmmod ssb
sudo rmmod wl

Back up the current boot ramfs and generate a new one.

CODE: SELECT ALL

sudo cp /boot/initrd.img-`uname -r`  /path/to/somewheresafe
sudo update-initramfs -u

إضافة اللغة العربية في الماك

إضافة اللغة:

1- إفتح الإعدادات.

2- إنقر فوق (اللغة و النص).

3- إنقر فوق (مصدر الإدخال).

4-حدد اللغة العربية من القائمة، ثم حدد (إظهار اللغة في شريط سطح المكتب).

كيفية التبديل بين اللغتين:

1- انقر فوق (اختصارات لوحة المفاتيح).

2- حدد (مصدر الإدخال السابق).

3- اذهب الى (محرك البحث).

4- قم بإلغاء التحدد من (محرك البحث).

الآن يمكن التبديل بين اللغتين الضغط على زر (Command) + (Space). استمتع
